Socks for Kevin

My son had to do some rough sketches so I could chart the designs and now.....the duplicate stitching is finally done!

THAT part of the sock knitting put these on hold for way too long. I don't know what I was so afraid of!

These socks went to Kevin, my son's friend. The green pair represents Tri-Force and the red pair represents Power Rangers. There are probably several of you who knew who those characters were. I had to learn. :)

I love the way they turned out and Kevin was ecstatic when he received them last night!

These were knit with Dale Baby Ull.

  1. They look great! One of my regular blog readers is in her early 20s and had the tri-force tattooed on her shoulder. She's a knitter--maybe she could have just made socks!

  2. I think that would have been a good idea......we all know how often we change our minds. :)
I even find my taste in food has even changed.

  3. These are incredible!

Oh, how I miss Power Rangers. It was so bad that it was good.

The triforce socks are incredible. You've inspired be to try making some of my own.

  4. I know about Power Rangers but not Tri-Force. You did an excellent job. I almost got a tattoo once but I know now that the moment I got it I would be looking for a way to have it removed.
I love your knitting, Maria. I think it is so cool that you are always knitting something new and more than one thing at a time!
    I love your blog, too.

  5. Wonderful job on those socks! That type of knitting scares me - making those DPNs go the right way - too hard! Thanks for checking my blog. Enjoy the holiday!
