Tatting and peas

Ahh, the Occasional Doily in the process of being tatted with sz 10 thread.  I was afraid of using such a big shuttle but find I rather like it.  Did you know it holds about 210 yards of sz 10 thread?  Wow.
Shelled peas from the garden.
This is the one thing that is growing nicely.  The carrots, beets cukes, zucchini and onions are not doing what they are supposed to be doing.

  1. The doily is lovely! Some day I'm going to take one tatting book and tat all the way through it... if I can focus for that long! ;-)

  2. I can only imagine what the carrots, beets, cukes, zucchini and onions ARE doing in the garden! (loud parties? digging holes? chasing the chickens???)
My zucchinis are about an inch long, the cukes are just plants and I never got around to planting the carrots & beets :-( We've got cauliflower & broccoli, tho!
BEAUTIFUL doily, of course! You are amazing, Maria!

  3. Everything in my garden is stunted by altitude, but even tiny peppers and tomatoes are better than what you can buy in the store. I'll bet your naughty veggies are going to taste good, too. They just need a little extra time... ;)
