If you love to make holes on purpose,....

and you love lace,...
and you love a FREE pattern,...
then you will love the Maaema scarf pattern.

I test knit this for Lost City Knits.  It was a wonderful and super rewarding knit.  I used JaggerSpun Zephyr 2/18 and US sz 4 needles.  More information on it can also be viewed on my Ravelry page.

  1. Wow! That is beautiful - so delicate. You did a wonderful job test knitting. I'm still knitting. I may ACTUALLY finish something for Baby Doll - hope saying it doesn't jinx me...

  3. Guilty. ;)

I am sooo addicted to lace lately, and that scarf is gorgeous!! Beautiful knitting by a beautiful knitter! I love the blue sweater, too. What a cute ribbed/cable pattern at the bottom. What is that pattern?

  4. Ann, oh, no!! We don't want to jinx anything! Can't wait to see it finished.
Denise, if I had someone who knew how to take a good photo, I would. :( As it was, I monkey see'd you and monkey did. LOL
Michelle, the pattern is in Ravelry as Mr. Greenjeans. The ribbed cable pattern is: k4,p2,cable over 4 sts every 4 rows/rounds, p2....repeat from asterisk.

  8. Seems like the first thing I noticed was the same thing everyone else saw... where's your face?!?

The piece truly is beautiful. I was wondering what your next test piece would look like. It's great!
