A Market Bag

I made this bag at Billie's Designer Fabrics and I was one of three in the 2nd class.  It's made of oilcloth and finished at 15 1/2" tall, 13 1/2" wide, and 7" deep.  I got enough fabric to make two more because a gal can never have enough market bags!
The accents are a ruffly poly scarf (knit by mwah) and a cup of cocoa (made by mwah because of Chris and Denise).

  1. That is an adorable bag! I remember using oil cloth as a desk cover when I was in elementary school. I wonder if oil cloth is the same as it was back then?

  3. Boy, Chris and Denise have some spectacular colors! I love the bag, and the scarf is cute, but I think I'm going for that cocoa!!! ;)
