Making things, instead of buying things

Made this years ago at a Super Saturday.  If you are LDS, you know how much fun those are.

This Ascot (by E.V. Zygas) from Knitter's Magazine, Summer 2010 K99 page 77,
is a gift to my mom.
I used Plassard Meri-Cash8 in color 155 and pink ribbon for the trim.

  1. I love the ascot colors! Your mom will love it!

I haven't been to a Super Saturday since....

Let's see, I think the last one was a quilting bee for Project Linus. We didn't walk away with things we could give as gifts!

  2. I think that would be very warm in winter, and the colours would be very versitile and go with a lot of things.
It is good to see you blogging....no swimming photos yet..think I left my togs at home...

  3. Love the scarf Maria, and very useful at this time of the year [for your part of the world!!]. Those hanging ornaments look cute. Countdown to Christmas is on in earnest now!! Take care, and stay warm.
